Battlefield 3: PS3

Frank Gibeau, president of EA Games, has been running his mouth constantly during the Production of PS3 battlefield 3, so confident is Gibeau in this new title (which is, bizarrely, the 11th in the ‘Battlefield’ series - obviously you don’t need to be able to count in order to shoot people) that he is actively touting PS3 battlefield 3 as being “flat out superior” to the ‘Call of Duty’ series.

With an impressive array of brand new features, cutting-edge gameplay and realistic locations in PS3 battlefield 3 , Frank might just have a point, but considering that CoD is currently the world’s biggest game, has he bitten off more than he can chew? This time, its war.

Sadly, I’m probably the most singularly unqualified person to commentate on this contest, and can instead only offer speculation. As a peace-loving person, my idea of R&R does not include bombing the crap out of Tehran, virtually or otherwise.

However, fans of intense strategy, gritty realism and blood-curdling violence will eat up battlefield 3 PS3 with a spoon (probably specially sharpened for extra intensity) so high sales are not in doubt.

The real question is ‘can battlefield 3 PS3 knock CoD from the top spot?’ and that, as ever, is up to you the consumer to decide as PS3 battlefield 3 puts its money where Frank’s mouth is. The cool thing is that as battlefield 3 PS3 and CoD go head-to-head, gamers on both sides will benefit from this clash of the titans.
